50 years ago, The Band, The Allman Brothers, and The Grateful Dead played a triple bill in Watkins Glen. For 600,000 people.
50 years later, ALEOproduction, The Almost Brothers Band, and Nearly Dead will be recreating that event at The Cutting Room in NYC.
This Sunday matinee is right in the middle of Phish's run at MSG - so if you're going to the shows, let us warm you up!
Every year, a group of Hoboken and Jersey City’s musicians come together to celebrate the music of an artist who has had an impact on our culture and our lives. This summer, we will be celebrating Madonna.
Each song will be played with a different array of the local musicians who live and play in Hoboken/Jersey City, and who have made an impact in our town and beyond with their music.
Casey and the Dirty Water Dogs are an ensemble who uses traditional bluegrass instrumentation to perform modern pop music, as well as the standard songs that make up the americana bluegrass catalog. Mandolin, acoustic guitar, violin, and bass mixed with a female voice up front and glorious harmonies is the structure that derives this band.
This Earth Day, April 23, 2023, we will be opening the Hoboken Folk and Bluegrass Festival with Gospel songs played in the bluegrass tradition to prepare your hearts and souls for the wonderful array of music and activities on the roster for the day.
School of Rock Hoboken provides both in-person and online music lessons for students of all ages. Our programs, camps and workshops for toddlers, kids, teens and adults make learning to play music fun and create great communities of musicians. School of Rock is the leader in performance-based music education. We combine one-on-one drum, bass, keyboard, vocal, and guitar lessons with group practices. Students learn to play music from day one and put on live performances at local venues. Our experienced instructors are local musicians themselves who combine the performance-based School of Rock Method and programs with individual music lessons to get results for your student.
Brendan Hartnett is fairly new to the scene, playing guitar and singing his compositions about life in all its colors and angles. For 5 years he has been performing and influencing his peers to illustrate life in our community.
For the entirety of his existence, he has brought his experiences to life with poetry and music, borrowing the techniques of masters like John Prine, Arlo Guthry, and Trash Paisley.
Singer/songwriter Elena Skye and Grammy Award winning multi-instrumentalist Boo Reiners perform and record together as The Demolition String Band. Their song “Go Coney Island, Roll On The Sand'' was a posthumous co-write with Woody Guthrie and appeared on the Grammy nominated CD set “My Name Is New York.” They play a mix of bluegrass and mountain music, have released seven albums and toured extensively around the United States and Europe.
Demolition String Band weaves rustic harmonies from joy and heartbreak, redemption and despair, myth and real life.
With sounds that spring from the grooves of a well-worn dance floor, they are always striving to remake what a string band can be while proudly holding up tradition.

It is at the forefront of ALEOproduction’s mission to help maintain and nourish our community. We believe that by utilizing and combining our individual abilities, we can create and flourish with a greater unified beauty.
For the Earth Day Festival in Hoboken, there will be performances by some of the cornerstones who contribute music to our community. Two longtime local ensembles, Davey and the Trainwreck and The Demolition String Band are playing sets, along with sets of music created by Hoboken/JC residents coming together. In addition, Hoboken School of Rock will be performing a set, showcasing the talent and hardwork of the younger members of our community.
We look forward to being a part of this wonderful event, produced by Main Street Pops.
Aiming for a sound somewhere near when Bob Dylan first went electric at Newport, Davey & the Trainwreck formed in the bars and open mics of Hoboken in 2010. Friends, and train wrecks in their own rite, Bill Hamilton (electric guitar), Reverend James "Jimmy D" Dillman (bass), Tommy Costagliola (drums) and Jeremy Beck (keys/organ) joined David Calamoneri (acoustic/vocals) to bring his songs and some songs from his heroes to a full classic rock band sound. Jaime DeJesus (bass) joined the group full time after the tragic loss of Jim Dillman. David Ribyat, Jaime Della Fave and Ryan Freid joined the ranks to fill out the sound with accordion, vocals, and mandolin. And April 23rd, Chuck Tumulty (drums) brings into the fold.
Davey & the Trainwreck brings the folk country blues rock and have done so from Maxwell's (in)famous back room to White Eagle Hall and elsewhere. Their mantra: Good Friends. Good Music. Good Times.
feat. Mike Gonzales, Leo Main, and Joshua Van Ness

Every summer many of the musicians of Hoboken and the greater Hudson County come together at the Sinatra Park Amphetheater to celebrate the music of a particular band or artist who has made an impact.
This year’s subject is The Eagles.
This year, since the live series at the park was cancelled, we put together a virtual presentation, all recorded from our own homes or studios.
You can tune in on your phone, TV, or any other device. The Eagles Engagement will be streamed live at 8p on FaceBook/Hoboken, and again at 9p on the ALEOproduction YouTube page.
The music of the Eagles is filled with tight and glorious harmonies floating over a rock and roll/country hybrid of finely crafted songs. We are looking forward to sharing this music with our community.
All of the performers, editors, and audio engineers are residents of Hoboken and Hudson County.

This event is thrown by the residents of the Green Pond every year and every year it gets more and more epic.
This year we are 1 of 3 bands that will be performing. And we are not holding back. With a full band with a horn section we will be raging our tunes into the mountains in this gorgeous setting.
(due to the pandemic, we are uncertain if the event will be cancelled and do not have further information that we can give at this time. Please stay tuned as the days move on)
This annual event will be celebrating it’s 5th year in Hoboken’s Sinatra Park, this year celebrating the music of Fleetwood Mac! This free concert is open to the public and all ages. It is a family affair, to say the least.
Every year, the musicians of Hoboken and Jersey City come together to pay tribute to an influential artist while mingling, musically, with their colleagues. It’s a beautiful scene - and killer performances featuring the incredible musicians (who are also our neighbors) who do their part in making our town diversely beautiful.
This will be our 10th year in Belmont to do our thing in the square. We are an acoustic ensemble, performing all the hits you know and love and then some.

On November 16, 2018, a group of musicians stepped into the White Eagle Hall to embark on their 6th annual performance of ALEOproductions' The Last Waltz. It was their first time as this ensemble performing on this stage, and CourTney Collins, of NonLinear Knitting Studio documented the night.
The result is a wonderful recap of the experience of that night.
On Friday, June 19 at 9p,
The Latest Noise and ALEO-music will host a watch party of CourTney’s edit of the songs played that evening.
When we first started this production, the purpose was to stage an incredible show that allowed for many different performers to shine, and the result was a unification of many of the talented and hard-working musicians in the greater Hudson County into a community of bands and musicians that continue to support each others’ shine.
The video will premiere on Facebook so join us for the watch party and listen as 25 musicians come together to create virtual bands and play music that resonates.
The Acoustic Engagement's purpose is for us to gather and create music with each other.
The same as usual, except...different.
Each tune will look something like this:
https://youtu.be/M6jtEDFutEc
We chose to focus on music that is driven by acoustic instruments because it is not often that we get to explore an entire set of this type of music with large ensembles in the venues that we typically play. Drums, percussion, and other acoustic instruments are highlighted, and there are plenty of electric instruments in the mix.
ALEOmusic is honored to be a part of this show, put on by WiserTime productions.
We will be backing up Arlan Feiles, an incredible songwriter from the Asbury Park scene, and bookending his performance with two small sets on either side.
Featuring:
Ariel Guidrey
Carolyn Light
Carlos Haase
Jaime DeJesus
Bilgehan Tuncer
Johnny Roccesano

This event has been birthed from a dissatisfaction in the things that occur. Sometimes the only solution is to scream into the universe!

This November 23rd - the Saturday before Thanksgiving 2019 - the soundtrack to the classic concert film, THE LAST WALTZ will be performed by a group of Hudson County’s finest musicians at White Eagle Hall in Jersey City.
This will be the sixth year that ALEOproductions is staging this wildly successful show, having sold out multiple nights at other venues, such as Maxwell’s Hoboken, NJ and last year at White Eagle Hall.
When we first started this production, the purpose was to stage an incredible show that allowed for many performers in our community to shine. The result was a unification of many of the talented and hard-working musicians in the greater Hudson County into a community of bands and musicians that continue to support each others’ “shine”.
Besides be musical comrades, we are also good friends, and we've come to think of this as our "Thanksgiving Dinner".
